last year I did that, I just did it without worrying about time, year before I did it as fast as I could ( as did a bunch of other HNers ), I got a fair few top 100 placements and finished the entire thing....super stressful, but fun. Last year, doing it in a relaxed manner, I never finished them, I'd just keep putting off doing the next puzzle.

This year I think I'll just watch from a distance. I think it is really worth doing it as fast as you can at least one year, it really highlighted a bunch of areas I was quite rusty in.




Why do you think you kept putting off the puzzles? Do you enjoy the competition, but not the puzzles? Maybe it's better that you didn't finish them.
